All the lattice gas models have been used to simulate many different flow
situations. These include single fluid simulation such as
Poiseuille flow in a pipe [31]; Von Karman street formation
behind a flat plate [32, 33, 19]; flow over a step [34];
vortex shedding behind
various objects inserted in a steady flow [35]; jet simulation
[35]; injected flow from a pipe into a transverse flow
[36] and multiple fluid simulations such as the
Kelvin-Helmholtz instability [25].
