Model Implementation

The two models described in sections 5.1.4 and 5.1.5 were both implemented so that the affect they have on a fluid simulation could be observed and any differences between the models could be considered. In all the simulations, unless stated otherwise, we will use tex2html_wrap_inline15219 and tex2html_wrap_inline15221 . This value of tex2html_wrap_inline14977 is larger than any value used in subsequent wave simulations. A single-species model was implemented using the isotropic, Galilean invariant equilibrium distribution derived in section 4.2.1. An immiscible binary fluid was implemented using the free energy model described in section 4.4.4.
